Compassion in the Arabian Peninsula – Food Assistance
Your contribution will go towards a food basket, based on recommended staples from the World Food Program (WFP), that is designed to feed the average household for one month.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
1 JOHN 3:17-18
An indigenous Christian community is growing at an accelerated rate despite the devastating conflict occurring in one country of the Arabian Peninsula where we are working. This growth is emerging in the midst of a deepening humanitarian crisis that has left many families struggling to survive. Provision of food, water, and education are key solutions to providing basic assistance to families and helping this faith community to continue multiplying. The education focus is for vulnerable believers studying post-secondary courses. Increasing their level of schooling will raise their standing in society and decrease their vulnerability to persecution.
Pray for peace in the country and divine reconciliation amongst all groups. Pray for the protection of local believers and their ability to extend the love of Christ. Pray for church leadership as they lead the faith community and model the ability to thrive in the midst of war.
