Description

Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.

1 Corinthians 9:19

Acts 8:26 tells the well-known story of Philip and the Ethiopian. In it, the    Holy Spirit leads Philip to the Eunuch as he’s reading prophecies of the   Gospel in Isaiah. Philip in his obedience to the Spirit, and openness to the Ethiopian, a man from foreign lands and faith, reveals to him that this Good News prophesied, points directly to Jesus. And just like that, the Ethiopian who the Bible says was previously lacking understanding, believed, was baptized, and rejoiced in Christ as he went on his way.

As displaced families are making their way to  Europe and experiencing the love and care of Christians, there is a hunger and openness, like the Eunuch, as many have never before had a chance to hear the Gospel. Many are connecting with the Global Fellowship Centre in Sweden, while others are attending outreach meetings throughout Europe that explain the hope of a new life in Jesus Christ. Those who are already believers have their faith strengthened through these ministries.

Prayer

Pray for those attending the meetings, that their hearts would be open to respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and that they would experience new hope in Christ.
