Suggested Price: $100.00
Your donation will go to provide diapers, bottles, blankets, and basic needs for new born babies and young mothers. This year Casa Blanca is being expanded to give the house parent family and girls more room.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His Beloved Son.
The story of Hagar in Genesis 16-21 shows us how God cares for young moms who are abandoned and alone. He heard the cries of the young woman who had given up. He called her by name and gave her hope and promise. The Casa Elizabeth is an expression of God’s care for young teens in Ecuador.
Ecuador has the highest statistics of teen pregnancy in South America with 121% of teens becoming pregnant. Casa Elizabeth is a teen pregnancy home that provides shelter, food, medical care, and basic resources for girls 11 to 18 years old who have been put out of their homes or placed there by court order. Because of this, Casa Elizabeth hosts mentor couples, affectionately known as house parents, who care for the girls as their own and make their house feel more like a home. The house is also run by a director and gives the girls access to a psychologist, social worker, and, all legal requirements necessary to care for these minors and help build a foundation on which they can grow to realize their dreams. The goal is to see each girl and baby in the program grow in a relationship with God, as they break the cycle of poverty.
Pray that a newly expanded pregnancy center will be a blessing to the girls and the parent family and that it will accommodate their needs more effectively.
